Minimum credentials include EMT Instructor Assistant (I/A) with Tennessee certification and BLS Instructor endorsement through the American Heart Association.

Qualifications

• EMT Instructor Assistant (I/A) with the state of Tennessee and Instructor for BLS with American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Plan and teach classes as assigned and as outlined in the course descriptions and syllabi.
• Begin and end classes as scheduled and cover learning outcomes for each course.
• Maintain academic standards and classroom behavior to foster learning and communicate with students weekly.
• Evaluate students using varied assessment methods and report scores promptly.
• Use Cleveland State email for administration and respond to questions promptly.
• Meet deadlines for administrative tasks, contracts, and grade reporting.
• Submit requests for equipment and supplies through the department chair or lead teacher.
