Job summary

Morton College seeks an EMT Instructor to teach basic life support skills to a diverse student population at the community college. You will design and deliver syllabi, use approved textbooks, maintain grade books and attendance, communicate with students and staff, and perform other duties as assigned to support timely course delivery.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree; minimum two years experience in an emergency medical setting.
• Strong knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic computer literacy.

Responsibilities

• Teach skills and knowledge for basic life support EMT to community college students.
• Utilize syllabus templates and approved textbooks; submit course syllabus before start date.
• Maintain grade books and attendance records; report attendance on required days.
• Respond to emails from students and staff; perform other duties as assigned.
