Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• State EMT license required (and NREMT/BLS preferred).
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Must pass Physical Agility Test and have healthcare exposure.
• Experience in healthcare is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients, determine necessary care and deliver emergency services with appropriate techniques and equipment.
• Document patient information and treatment while maintaining confidentiality.
• Maintain a clean, safe environment for patients and healthcare staff.
• Utilize EMT skills for communications, equipment use, and procedures.
• Operate an ambulance in accordance with safety policies and traffic laws.
• Collaborate with allied health and public safety personnel.
