Job summary

AMR is hiring Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) for immediate, full-time opportunities to respond to emergency and non-emergency medical requests and deliver high-quality care and compassionate service. You will assess patients, determine needed care, document details, maintain a safe environment, and operate EMS equipment and ambulances in accordance with company policy and state regulations.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, State EMT License, State Driver’s License, BLS,

State Driver’s License.
BLS and NREMT certifications required.
Driving record must comply with policy.
Pass Physical Agility Test.
Some work experience, preferably in healthcare.

Responsibilities

EMTs provide patient assessment, determine required care and deliver emergency services.
Document patient information, condition and treatment while maintaining confidentiality.
Maintain a safe, clean, and well-stocked environment for patients.
Use EMT skills to provide care including communications, equipment, and procedures.
Operate an ambulance in accordance with safety policies and traffic laws.
Collaborate with allied health and public safety personnel and fellow EMTs.
Participate in community programs to support AMR image.
