Job summary

UCHealth is seeking a part-time EMT/medical support role in Loveland, CO. This onsite position supports emergent patient care under supervision, including IV access, specimen collection, wound care, ECGs, and telemetry monitoring.

Responsibilities include assisting physicians and nurses with procedures, reporting changes in patient condition, and maintaining patient flow and room readiness in a fast-paced ER setting. BLS and EMT credentials required; CPI training within 1 year of hire.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• Current EMT license with IV certification or EMT-I.
• BLS Healthcare Provider certification required.
• Advanced CPI within 1 year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergent/urgent patient care under physician/PA/nurse guidance.
• Establish IV access, collect specimens, provide wound care.
• May perform ECGs and vital signs/telemetry monitoring.
• Assist with examinations, minor surgical interventions, orthopedic treatment, and resuscitation.
• Report abnormal findings to medical staff.
• Support patient flow, keep rooms clean and stocked.
