Job summary

AMR is hiring Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) in St. Louis to respond to emergency and non-emergency requests with high-quality care and customer service. All positions are onsite unless stated, with starting pay commensurate with experience and a $4,000 sign-on bonus for full-time EMTs.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, State EMT license, State Driver’s License, BLS, and NREMT. Candidates must pass a Physical Agility Test and have healthcare experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
• State EMT License required.
• State Driver’s License required.
• BLS and NREMT certifications required.
• Driving record must comply with policy.
• Able to pass Physical Agility Test.
• Healthcare experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• EMTs assess patients, determine required care, and deliver emergency services.
• Document patient information and maintain confidentiality.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and stocked environment for patients.
• Provide care using appropriate medical equipment and procedures.
• Operate an ambulance in accordance with safety policies and laws.
• Collaborate with other healthcare and public safety personnel.
