Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• State Paramedic License current.
• State Driver’s License required.
• BLS, ACLS, NREMT-Paramedic certifications.
• Driving record compliant with company policy.
• Pass Physical Agility Test.
• Healthcare experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess each call to determine best course of action using Paramedic protocols.
• Operate medical equipment (defibrillator, EKG monitor, oxygen, suction) and provide advanced care.
• Communicate with patients and families to convey care and information.
• Lead the Paramedic team and manage scene and unit as needed.
• Drive ambulance on 911 responses.
• Collaborate with allied health and public safety personnel.
• Participate in community programs to support AMR image and relations.
