Job summary

FIRST CALL AMBULANCE LLC in Columbia, TN is seeking EMTs to join our team. You will perform lifesaving procedures and safe patient transport, driving EMS vehicles as trained and licensed.

You will follow medical director guidance, complete necessary paperwork, and uphold our professional standards and community service focus. Ideal candidates hold an active state EMS license with no disciplinary actions, current CPR/EVOC, and pediatric/trauma certifications within one year of hire.

Qualifications

• Must hold valid state EMS license with no disciplinary action.
• Active driver's license in the state of residence.
• CPR and EVOC certifications kept current, pediatric and trauma certifications within 1 year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide EMT lifesaving care and defensive driving in EMS transport.
• Drive emergency or non-emergency vehicles using trained defensive driving techniques.
• Adhere to company policies, procedures, and protocols.
• Maintain professional appearance and conduct, collaborating with colleagues and patients.
• Complete required paperwork and documentation accurately and timely.
• Participate in training, in-services, and quality assurance activities.
• Promote company marketing strategies and represent First Call Ambulance positively.

Education

State EMS license (active, no disciplinary action)

Active driver's license in state of residence

CPR certification

EVOC certification

Pediatric Certification (PEARS/PEPP/EPC)

Trauma Certification (PHTLS/ITLS)
