Job summary

First Call Ambulance LLC in Smyrna, TN is seeking EMTs to provide lifesaving care and patient transport. You will perform duties within EMS scope, drive emergency and non-emergency vehicles, and follow Medical Director guidelines while delivering compassionate service.

Requirements include a valid state EMS license with no disciplinary action, an active driver's license, CPR and EVOC certification, and within one year of hire, Pediatric and Trauma certifications (PEARS/PEPP/EPC and PHTLS/ITLS).

Qualifications

• Must hold valid state EMS license with no disciplinary action
• Must have active driver's license in the state of residence
• CPR certification and EVOC current
• Within 1 year of hire, complete Pediatric Certification (PEARS/PEPP/EPC) and Trauma Certification (PHTLS/ITLS)

Responsibilities

• Operate as an EMT within Medical Director scope and state EMS regulations
• Drive emergency or non-emergency vehicles using defensive driving techniques as trained
• Maintain professional appearance, conduct, and customer service
• Complete required paperwork and documentation accurately and on time
• Report accidents, equipment issues, injuries, and incidents promptly
• Attend trainings, in-services, and quality assurance activities
• Engage in public relations activities for the company and EMS
• Maintain inventory of vehicles and equipment as requested
• Support company policies and marketing strategies across departments
