Candidates must hold NC EMT certification, current BCLS/BTLS/PHTLS certification, a valid NC driver’s license with a clean driving record, be at least 18, and have two years of driving experience.

EMT (Emergency Medical Technician) – The EMT is responsible for ambulance operations and emergency/non-emergency care at the basic level in the prehospital environment and during ambulance transport of patients.
