Responsibilities

• Respond to life-threatening and emergency medical situations, as well as non-emergency calls.
• Coordinate response activities with physicians to develop a patient care plan based on assessments.
• Lead responder teams by coordinating triage, treatment, patient preparation, and transport.
• Ensure all emergency medical equipment and vehicles are functioning properly through regular checks and maintain inventory.
• Assist in station cleaning and interact with emergency personnel at scenes.
• Complete all documentation and administrative tasks in compliance with regulations.
• Handle hazardous materials safely and dispose of them properly.
• Comply with OSHA regulations regarding infection control and hazardous materials.
• Respond to multi-casualty incidents and disasters, providing medical oversight, triage, and transport in coordination with responders.
• Participate in ongoing training to stay updated with EMS requirements.
• Operate ambulance and medical response equipment effectively.
• Make decisions aligned with organizational policies and legal requirements.
