Job summary

Northern Light Sebasticook Valley Hospital in Pittsfield, ME is seeking a full-time Emergency Medical Technician to provide emergent care and transportation in a professional, patient-centered manner. You will assess patients, document care, and coordinate with the Emergency Department within an Ambulance Transport team.

The position requires flexibility, attendance, and the ability to adapt to changing processes.

Qualifications

• EMT-Basic or higher required; licensure verified.
• BLS and AHA within 30 days of hire.
• Clean driving record and reliable attendance.

Responsibilities

• Initial assessment and ongoing evaluation.
• Relays information to Emergency Department.
• Maintains ambulance and equipment readiness.
• Rotating scheduling assignments.
• May assist with hospital-wide security when not EMS.
