Responsibilities

• Initial assessment and ongoing evaluation.
• Records accurate and complete documentation.
• Relays proper and adequate information to Emergency Department.
• Maintains the upkeep of the Ambulances.
• Rotating assignment of scheduling.
• May assist with security services when not performing EMS functions.
• Follows appropriate EMS protocol treatments.
• Appropriate use of IVs and medications.
• Intubation.
• Inter-facility transfer-PIFT.
• Interviews patients, family and bystanders efficiently.
• Interprets instructions and forms.
• Communicates effectively with team and health professionals.
