Job summary

Regional West Health Services in Scottsbluff, NE is seeking an EMT to join our Allied Emergency Medical Services team. The EMT will deliver patient care per protocols, maintain competency, and collaborate with bystanders, law enforcement, fire, EMS, and hospital staff to reflect positively on RWHS.

Qualifications include completion of an EMT-Basic program, at least one year of pre-hospital EMS experience, Nebraska EMT licensure, and BLS provider certification (instructor preferred).

Qualifications

• Graduated from an educational program for Emergency Medical Technician-Basic, or equivalent.
• One year of pre-hospital experience with patient transport/EMS.
• Current State of Nebraska EMT licensure.
• BLS provider, instructor preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient care according to standard of care and RWMC policy.
• Maintain skills competency as verified by competency check sheets or evaluation tools.
• Interact with bystanders, law enforcement, fire, EMS, and hospital professionals reflecting positively on RWMC.
