Job summary

SGMC Health's Specialty Care Transport team in Georgia is seeking a dedicated EMT to join the full-time evening shift (12p-10p) at EMS Station One. You will respond to calls, assess patients, provide treatment and transport under department guidelines, maintaining required state certifications.

Holds current Georgia EMT license with BLS certification, valid driver's license, and must complete Haz-Mat and NIMS requirements within 90 days.

Qualifications

• Current Georgia EMT license and BLS certification required.
• Maintain annual education requirements per Georgia laws and department policies.
• Ability to perform practical BLS skills on adult, pediatric, and infant patients.

Responsibilities

• Respond to calls for service and provide assessment, treatment, and transportation of patients.
• Deliver emergency care and ALS interventions per department guidelines.
• Assist with patient transfer and participate in required training and certification programs.
