Job summary

Best Care Ambulance, Inc. in Chestertown, MD is seeking an Emergency Medical Technician for the Chestertown Dedicated team. The EMT responds to emergent and nonemergent transports, assesses patients, provides basic life support, and transports patients to facilities.

Qualifications include high school diploma, minimum age of 19, NREMT certification, state EMT license (or ability to obtain within 10 days), valid driver’s license, EVOC training, and BLS CPR. Competitive benefits offered.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• NREMT certification required.
• Current State EMT license or ability to obtain within 10 days.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• EVOC course completion or ability to obtain within 90 days.
• AHA BLS CPR certification or ability to obtain within 10 days.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care within EMT scope of practice.
• Respond to emergent and non-emergent transports.
• Communicate effectively with patients, dispatch, crews, and facility staff.
• Operate communication devices (radio, cell, tablet).
• Complete patient care reports before shift end.
• Maintain vehicle and equipment readiness.
