Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) to provide Basic Life Support (BLS) services for emergency and non-emergency requests. You will transport patients, assess needs, and coordinate with police, fire, and healthcare teams in New Jersey.

The role requires state EMT certification, BLS provider certification, a valid driver's license, and strong communication and documentation skills to ensure high-quality patient care across diverse settings.

Competenze

• State EMT certification (NJ or NR/reciprocity)
• AHA BLS Health Care Provider certification
• Valid driver's license
• CEVO/EVOC within 90 days of hire
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficient using MS Office/Google Suite

Mansioni

• Responds to calls in a timely manner and supports public safety personnel
• Performs pre-hospital BLS care and communicates with medical control
• Documents patient care reports accurately and promptly
• Operates emergency vehicle safely and maintains vehicle readiness
• Provides patient handoffs and maintains patient comfort during transport
• Adheres to state/NJAC regulations and HMH policies
