Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) to provide Basic Life Support (BLS) across emergency and non-emergency requests in New Jersey. The role requires adaptability to hazardous environments and coordination with police, fire, and other medical teams.

Responsibilities include rapid call response, patient assessment, documentation, and safe transport. Candidates must hold NJ EMT or NREMT-B, BLS, a valid license, and ability to operate emergency vehicles in

• Current NJ EMT certification or NREMT-B required.
• BLS Provider certification required (AHA).
• Valid driver’s license required.
• EVOC/CEVO within 90 days of hire.

Responsabilidades

• Responds to calls promptly and in a safe manner.
• Assists public safety personnel and other healthcare providers during patient care.
• Performs pre-hospital BLS treatment and documents patient condition.
• Operates emergency vehicle safely and adheres to policies.
• Completes patient care reports and handoffs to receiving providers.
• Maintains EMS equipment, vehicle, and station readiness.
• Provides education within EMT scope as directed by leadership.
