Job summary

DocGo's Ambulnz unit is hiring EMTs in PA locations to provide high quality medical transport and on-scene care. The role requires weekend availability and offers a base pay of $22.50–$29.50 per hour with overtime opportunities.

Qualifications

• PA EMT State Certification (minimum)
• Valid Driver's License (for a minimum of 2 years)
• Acceptable driving record
• Valid CPR Card for Health Care Provider
• Must be able to lift, push and pull 125 lbs. or more
• Successfully complete Physical Aptitude Test

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with fellow EMTs, Paramedics and management to assure top tier patient care.
• Be flexible as emergency services operate on a 24-hour clock - work shift schedule may vary.
• Remain up to date with current standards of care, equipment functions, and all licenses.
• Deal with patients, co-workers, supervisors, and the public in a courteous, professional manner.
• Recognize and treat medical conditions with appropriate techniques and protocols.
• Provide top tier medical transport to facilities and follow policies and procedures.
• Operate and drive the ambulance safely according to regulations.
• Maintain rig cleanliness and organize equipment space.
• Gather patient billing information and signatures.
• Prepare and submit a pre-hospital patient care report.
• Respond promptly to Dispatch Center assignments.
• Demonstrate excellent verbal communication skills.
• Perform other duties as required.
