Job summary

DocGo is seeking Emergency Medical Technicians (EMT) for Abington, Philadelphia, King of Prussia, and Bensalem, PA. Roles include both full-time and part-time positions with weekend availability and a base pay of $22.50–$29.50 per hour plus differential and overtime opportunities.

Qualifications

• PA EMT State Certification is the minimum required.
• Driver's license must be valid for at least 2 years.
• Must maintain an acceptable driving record.
• CPR for Health Care Provider must be valid.
• Ability to lift, push and pull 125 lbs or more.
• Must successfully complete Physical Aptitude Test.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with EMTs and management to ensure top-tier patient care.
• Be flexible; shifts may vary due to 24-hour operations.
• Stay up to date with standards of care, equipment, and licenses.
• Maintain professional conduct with patients, coworkers, and the public.
• Provide medical transport and follow established policies and procedures.
• Operate ambulances safely and in compliance with state/regional laws.
• Keep rigs clean and stocked; manage patient billing info and signatures.
• Prepare and submit pre-hospital patient care reports.
• Respond promptly to dispatch assignments.
• Exhibit excellent verbal communication; perform other duties as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with your fellow EMTs and management to assure top tier patient care.
• Be flexible as emergency services operate on a 24-hour clock - your work shift schedule may vary due to the nature of the business.
• Remain up to date with current standards of care, including equipment functions and uses and all certifications, licenses and registrations.
• Conduct yourself in a courteous, helpful, and professional manner when dealing with patients, co-workers, supervisors, and the public.
• Recognize and treat any medical condition with appropriate techniques, equipment, and knowledge of all State and County protocols.
• Provide top tier medical transport to medical facilities by assuming responsibilities for medical care of the patient and carrying out established policies and procedures.
• Operate and drive the ambulance in accordance with safety policies and laws, showing due regard for all applicable State and Regional Regulations (DMV & DOH)
• Maintain rig cleanliness by stocking the rigs and taking ownership of your space.
• Gather patient billing information and appropriate billing signatures.
• Prepare and submit a pre-hospital patient care report.
• Respond promptly to assignments as required by the Dispatch Center.
• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Perform other duties as required/assigned.
