Job summary

Kalamazoo Valley Community College seeks an EMT Clinician to support the next generation of emergency medical technicians. You will teach and evaluate students in clinical and lab settings, ensure curriculum objectives are met, and verify student competencies in line with MDHHS portfolios and CoAEMSP standards.

Responsibilities include lab setup, acting as standardized patient, proctoring exams, and facilitating preceptor relationships during clinical events.

Qualifications

• Current EMT-B or Paramedic license issued by the Michigan MDHHS.
• Minimum of 1 year of field experience in emergency medical services.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a role model and student advocate; proctor exams and facilitate student preceptor relationships.
• Coordinate with program staff to support sponsor and accreditation activities.
