KEY EXPECTED ACHIEVEMENTS

Prevention/Protection:

Support the business unit in achieving objectives as specified by the plant, while ensuring safety and quality through being an engaged team member

Ensure that the safety provisions are permanently operational to guarantee control of the risk on the site (verifications, tests, equipment controls, rounds, etc.)
Apply, respect and enforce instructions (internal regulations, Security instructions, access and key management, control of people, "luggage" and vehicles, etc.)
Perform and document PP (Fire Safety Security) patrols, test and control the installations, equipment and resources.
Carry out verification and control plans for which he/she is responsible
Implement, for the Security part, the EP3 process (Operational Control and Emergency Plan) within the framework of the SMEP
Ensure that all the provisions are respected to prevent and contain security risks
Contribute to the capitalization of experience by participating in the analysis of all security-related events that have occurred on site
Monitor and operate central alarm panels
Put in place, or implement, temporary arrangements that require it
Apply the "Logistics" instructions with regard to the carriers (weighing, sealing, transport documents, etc.)

Intervention:

Intervene in the event of an intrusion, incident, disaster or malicious act alarm.
Apply pre-established instructions or orders given in the event of the unexpected.
Use the reflex action sheets when an event occurs.
Evaluate an event situation and report accordingly.
Alert the APM/RGEP and those responsible for any serious anomaly or any persistent risk situation and apply the necessary emergency measures, including first aid.
Carry out PP operational interventions (reception / transmission of alarms, emergency calls, etc.)

Information / Communication:

Provide reception (physical or telephone) according to Groupe rules
Inform any newcomer (or incoming) to the applicable Site Safety rules
Reception and transmission of telephone calls

Reporting:
Write the handrail and reports of anomalies.
Fill in the Fire and Safety indicators, monitor developments and guarantee their quality.

Purpose

Duties
  • Respond to Plant Emergencies, including providing care to injured employees, chemical spill cleanup, security threats or disturbances, natural disasters, and fires.
  • Operating & Maintaining Fire Systems (fire sprinkler system, pumps, hoses, DIVs & PIVs).
  • Traffic Control, Plant Patrol, Vehicle & Foot Patrol, Investigations, & Mail.
  • Firefighting which includes MET Leader for Crew.
  • Reception and Registration of Plant Visitors Including Switchboard Operations.

  • Must have SCNREMT certification
  • Must obtain Incident Command & Interior Structural Firefighter, South Carolina First Responder, South Carolina Law Enforcement Division Certifications, and have HAZMAT training. Complete SCFA 1152 course or equivalent.
