Job summary

Atrium Health’s AirCare - EMT BLS Team is seeking an experienced EMT to join the Ground Transport unit in Winston-Salem, NC. The role focuses on safe patient transport, on-vehicle care, and strict adherence to medical control directives.

You will maintain vehicle readiness, complete required documentation in the EHR, and participate in ongoing training to meet state and department protocols. Compensation reflects pay range listed and benefits eligibility, with schedule details including 36 hours

Qualifications

• NC EMT certification required.
• 1 year experience driving emergency vehicles preferred.
• BLS required.
• Must have valid driver's license and qualify as insurable by Advocate Health insurance carrier requirements for driving AirCare vehicles.
• Previous transport or pre-hospital experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Care for ill and injured patients during transport.
• Operate vehicle safely and maintain readiness.
• Provide patient care under supervision of Medical Control Physician.
• Maintain certifications, licenses, and competency checks.
