Job summary

American Medical Response in Evansville, IN is hiring immediately for EMTs on a part-time basis. You will respond to emergency and non-emergency requests, provide high-quality care and customer service, and work with a team of EMS professionals.

Qualifications include a valid EMT license, BLS, NREMT, and a clean driving record. Night and weekend shifts may include shift premiums and opportunities to grow with a respected national EMS provider.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• National EMT license or state license with ability to become nationally certified within 1 year.
• State Driver’s License.
• BLS, NREMT.
• Driving record compliant with company policy.
• Pass Physical Agility Test.
• Healthcare experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient assessment and deliver emergency services using EMT skills.
• Document patient information while maintaining confidentiality and patient rights.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and well-stocked environment for patients.
• Use EMT skills and equipment for care.
• Operate an ambulance in compliance with safety policies and traffic laws.
• Collaborate with allied health and public safety personnel.
• Participate in community programs to maintain AMR image.

IMMEDIATELY HIRING! EMT PART-TIME Opportunity

$17.00 - $20.30 per hour! Employees who work night, weekend, or evening shifts may be eligible for additional shift premiums.

Must have a valid EMT certification to be qualified for this position.

We’re hiring Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) that will respond to emergency and non-emergency requests for medical assistance and deliver high-quality care, treatment and customer service to patients.

Responsibilities:

• EMTs provide an assessment of patients, determine necessary care and deliver emergency services by utilizing appropriate medical techniques and equipment.
• Document patient information, condition and treatment while maintaining confidentiality and patient rights.
• Take pride in providing a safe, clean, and well-stocked environment for patients.
• Use appropriate EMT skills to provide care including communications, medical equipment, cleaning procedures, office equipment and tools.
• EMTs operate an ambulance in conjunction with applicable company safety policies, and traffic laws related to the operation of emergency medical response vehicles.
• Work collaboratively and in a professional manner with all allied health and public safety personnel as well as your fellow EMTs.

Other Responsibilities:

• Participate in community programs to maintain AMR image and establish strong community relations.

MinimumRequired Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
• National EMT License or State EMT license with the ability to become nationally certified within 1 year
• State Driver’s License
• BLS, NREMT
• Driving record compliant with company policy
• Pass Physical Agility Test
• Some work experience, preferably healthcare

Preferred Qualifications:

• Related experience in healthcare
