Job summary

AMR is hiring Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) to respond to emergency and non-emergency medical requests, providing high-quality care and customer service. The role includes patient assessment, documentation, and adherence to safety and confidentiality standards.

This part-time position offers shift premiums for night, weekend, or evening hours. Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, EMT license, driver’s license, BLS/NREMT, and a physical agility test.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED is required.
  • National EMT License or State EMT license with ability to become nationally certified within 1 year.
  • State Driver’s License is required.
  • BLS and NREMT certifications.
  • Driving record must comply with company policy.
  • Pass a Physical Agility Test.
  • Some healthcare experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • EMTs assess patients, determine needed care and provide emergency services using proper techniques and equipment.
  • Document patient information and treatment while maintaining confidentiality.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and well-stocked environment for patients.
  • Utilize EMT skills with equipment and procedures including communications and cleaning tasks.
  • Operate an ambulance following company safety policies and traffic laws.
  • Collaborate with allied health and public safety personnel.
  • Participate in community programs to support AMR image.

Emergency Medical Technician EMT

IMMEDIATELY HIRING! EMT PART-TIME Opportunity

$17.00 - $20.30 per hour! Employees who work night, weekend, or evening shifts may be eligible for additional shift premiums.

Must have a valid EMT certification to be qualified for this position.

We’re hiring Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) that will respond to emergency and non-emergency requests for medical assistance and deliver high-quality care, treatment and customer service to patients.

Responsibilities:
  • EMTs provide an assessment of patients, determine necessary care and deliver emergency services by utilizing appropriate medical techniques and equipment.
  • Document patient information, condition and treatment while maintaining confidentiality and patient rights.
  • Take pride in providing a safe, clean, and well-stocked environment for patients.
  • Use appropriate EMT skills to provide care including communications, medical equipment, cleaning procedures, office equipment and tools.
  • EMTs operate an ambulance in conjunction with applicable company safety policies, and traffic laws related to the operation of emergency medical response vehicles.
  • Work collaboratively and in a professional manner with all allied health and public safety personnel as well as your fellow EMTs.
Other Responsibilities:
  • Participate in community programs to maintain AMR image and establish strong community relations.
Minimum Required Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
  • National EMT License or State EMT license with the ability to become nationally certified within 1 year
  • State Driver’s License
  • BLS, NREMT
  • Driving record compliant with company policy
  • Pass Physical Agility Test
  • Some work experience, preferably healthcare
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Related experience in healthcare
