Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• State EMT license is required or in good standing.
• State driver’s license is required.
• BLS certification and NREMT certification are required.
• Driving record must meet company standards.
• Pass Physical Agility Test.
• Some healthcare experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Respond to emergency and non-emergency requests for medical assistance.
• Provide high-quality care, treatment and customer service to patients.
• Assess patients, determine required care and deliver emergency services.
• Document patient information while maintaining confidentiality and rights.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and stocked environment for patients.
• Operate an ambulance in accordance with safety policies and traffic laws.
• Collaborate with allied health and safety personnel and fellow EMTs.
• Participate in community programs to maintain company image.
