Job summary

Blanchard Valley Health System’s HANCO EMS is seeking an EMT to provide pre-hospital and trauma care within certification scope. You will respond to calls, assess patients, and deliver care according to medical protocols while maintaining patient confidentiality.

Responsibilities include completing run reports, restocking supplies, sanitizing vehicles, participating in trainings, and staying current with EMS procedures.

Qualifications

• Ohio EMT certification is required.
• Healthcare Provider CPR within 30 days.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving history.
• Positive service-oriented interpersonal and communication skills.
• Out-of-state EMTs must apply for ODPS reciprocity.

Responsibilities

• Deliver pre-hospital and trauma care within certification scope.
• Complete accurate run reports and maintain patient confidentiality.
• Record information in the Ohio State Reporting program.
• Restock supplies and ensure equipment is returned to proper location.
• Sanitize and disinfect transport vehicle and equipment.
• Participate in debriefings and ongoing training.
