Job summary

First Call Ambulance in Nashville, TN is seeking EMTs to join our dedicated team delivering lifesaving care and friendly customer service.

As an EMT you will perform lifesaving procedures, drive emergency or non-emergency vehicles, and document care per state and company protocols. Reporting to Field/Supervisors and managers, you will participate in training and quality assurance activities while promoting our mission in the community.

Qualifications

• Must hold valid state EMS license with no disciplinary action.
• Active driver's license in the state of residence.
• Current CPR and EVOC; within 1 year of hire Pediatric Certification (PEARS/PEPP/EPC) and Trauma Certification (PHTLS/ITLS).

Responsibilities

• Hold and maintain State EMS license with no disciplinary action.
• Perform EMT duties within scope of practice set by Medical Director and EMS Agency.
• Drive emergency or non-emergency vehicles using defensive driving techniques as trained and licensed.
• Abide by all company policies, procedures, and protocols.
• Maintain professional image and act with care in public.
• Complete required paperwork accurately and promptly.
• Report accidents, equipment issues, or injuries to supervision.
• Participate in training, in-services, and quality assurance activities.
• Engage in public relations activities and teamwork across departments.
