Job summary

First Call Ambulance in Gallatin, TN is seeking EMTs to deliver lifesaving care and safe transport. You will drive in accordance with defensive driving training and adhere to EMS scopes of practice while providing compassionate patient care.

Responsibilities include completing documentation, maintaining certifications, and participating in training and quality assurance activities to support exceptional service.

Qualifications

• Must hold valid state EMS license with no disciplinary action.
• Active driver's license in the state of residence.
• Certifications: CPR, EVOC; within 1 year of hire complete Pediatric Certification (PEARS/PEPP/EPC) and Trauma Certification (PHTLS, ITLS).

Responsibilities

• Perform as an EMT delivering lifesaving care and defensive driving for EMS transport and patient care.
• Adhere to Medical Director and State EMS Agency scope of practice.
• Complete required paperwork and reports accurately and promptly.
• Maintain professional appearance and conduct; work cooperatively with staff, patients, and families.
• Attend in-services and training; participate in quality assurance activities.
