Job summary

First Call Ambulance in Dickson, TN is seeking EMTs to join our team for lifesaving care and patient transport in the community. EMTs will operate under supervision, drive with defensive techniques when licensed, and uphold our standards of patient service and professional conduct.

The role requires a valid state EMS license with no disciplinary actions, current CPR and EVOC certifications, and within one year of hire, completion of pediatric and trauma certifications (PEARS/PEPP/EPC,

Qualifications

Must have valid state EMS license with no disciplinary action documented.
Must have active DL in the state the employee resides.
Maintains current certifications in CPR, EVOC. Also, within 1 year of hire date, complete Pediatric Certification Course (PEARS, PEPP, EPC) and Trauma Certification (PHTLS, ITLS).

Responsibilities

Performs as an EMT delivering lifesaving care and transport of patients as part of EMS response.
Drives emergency or non-emergency vehicles using defensive driving techniques when trained and licensed.
Adheres to company policies, procedures and protocols while maintaining professional appearance and conduct.
Completes required paperwork and documents accurately.
Reports accidents, equipment issues, and incidents to supervision promptly.
Attends required training, in-services, and quality assurance activities.
Supports marketing and community relations efforts as needed.
