Job summary

City Ambulance Service is hiring EMT-Basics for our West Texas region (San Angelo, Odessa, Monahans and surroundings). This full-time on-the-road position features a 7 days on / 7 days off schedule, with a yearly income of about $85,800–$91,000 depending on experience.

Responsibilities include responding to emergency and non-emergency transports, providing first aid or advanced life support, documenting care, and coordinating with hospitals.

Qualifications

• Ability to work on your feet for long periods.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Experience coordinating with others in high-stress environments.
• MICU level transport experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Respond to emergency and non-emergency transport calls.
• Provide first-aid or advanced life support as per protocol.
• Document care and communicate with physicians and hospital staff.
• Transport patients safely and transfer to medical facilities.
• Maintain vehicle and equipment, and ensure crew quarters stay clean.
