Job summary

Global Medical Response seeks an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) in Colorado to respond to emergency and non‑emergency medical requests with high‑quality care. This full‑time position involves 12‑hour shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, with an hourly starting rate and a range that reflects experience.

Responsibilities include patient assessment, treatment, documentation, and safe operation of EMS equipment and ambulances.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required or equivalent.
  • Colorado EMT certification is mandatory.

EMT BASIC

Starting at $17.00 / hour with credit given for experience

We’re hiringEmergency Medical Technicians (EMTs)that will respond to emergency and non-emergency requests for medical assistance and deliver high-quality care, treatment and customer service to patients.

This position works full-time 12-hour shifts, which are often nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities:

  • EMTs provide an assessment of patients, determine necessary care and deliver emergency services by utilizing appropriate medical techniques and equipment.
  • Document patient information, condition and treatment while maintaining confidentiality and patient rights.
  • Take pride in providing a safe, clean, and well-stocked environment for patients.
  • Use appropriate EMT skills to provide care including communications, medical equipment, cleaning procedures, office equipment and tools.
  • EMTs operate an ambulance in conjunction with applicable company safety policies, and traffic laws related to the operation of emergency medical response vehicles.
  • Work collaboratively and in a professional manner with all allied health and public safety personnel as well as your fellow EMTs.

Other Responsibilities:

  • Participate in community programs to maintain AMR image and establish strong community relations.

Minimum Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • Colorado EMT certification
  • Current CPR/BLScertifications (AHA or Red Cross)
  • Valid driver’s license in good standing
  • Driving record compliant with company policies
  • Successful completion of the Physical Ability Test (PAT)
  • NREMT preferred.
