Job summary

AMR is hiring Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) for full-time roles in California. Respond to emergency and non-emergency requests, deliver high-quality care and customer service, and support patient safety on scene and in transport.

Opportunities include a Paramedic scholarship after 12 months of employment. Qualifications include EMT, CA licenses, CPR, and FEMA ICS training; salary range listed below.

Qualifications

  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • CA Driver’s License.
  • Ambulance Driver’s License from DMV.
  • State of California EMT.
  • CPR Card (AHA Health Care Provider).
  • K4 report from the DMV (less than 30 days old).
  • IS-100/IS-200/IS-700/IS-800 (NIMS) completed.

Responsibilities

  • Assess patients and determine needed care; provide emergency services.
  • Document patient information and treatment with confidentiality.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and stocked patient environment.
  • Operate appropriate EMT skills and equipment.
  • Drive/operate an ambulance in accordance with safety rules.
  • Collaborate with health and public safety teams.

Emergency Medical Technician (EMT)

IMMEDIATELY HIRING! EMT FULL-TIME ONLY!

We’re hiring Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) that will respond to emergency and non-emergency requests for medical assistance and deliver high-quality care, treatment and customer service to patients.

Potential Paramedic Scholarship Opportunity Available after 12 months of EMT Full Time employment- *For more details inquire within.

Responsibilities:

  • EMTs provide an assessment of patients, determine necessary care and deliver emergency services by utilizing appropriate medical techniques and equipment.
  • Document patient information, condition and treatment while maintaining confidentiality and patient rights.
  • Take pride in providing a safe, clean, and well-stocked environment for patients.
  • Use appropriate EMT skills to provide care including communications, medical equipment, cleaning procedures, office equipment and tools.
  • EMTs operate an ambulance in conjunction with applicable company safety policies, and traffic laws related to the operation of emergency medical response vehicles.
  • Work collaboratively and in a professional manner with all allied health and public safety personnel as well as your fellow EMTs.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Must be at least 18 years of age; some prior work experience in a health care system preferred
  • Education: High school diploma or GED
  • CA Drivers’ License
  • Ambulance Driver’s License(from DMV)
  • Medical Examiner’s Certificate (MCSA-5875andMCSA-5876)
  • State of California EMT
  • CPR Card (American Heart Association ONLY, Health Care Provider. Hand written cards are not acceptable)
  • K4 report (Driving Record) from the DMV(less than 30 days old)
