Job summary

Buellton location is hiring Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) to respond to emergency and non-emergency medical requests and deliver high-quality care and customer service.

Compensation ranges from $26.52 to $30.48 per hour DOE; 12-hour shifts with an average of 42 hours per week. Paramedic scholarship opportunity after 12 months for eligible EMTs.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old; prior health care experience preferred.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• CA Driver’s License and Ambulance Driver’s License required.
• State EMT certification (CA) and CPR from AHA Health Care Provider required.
• IS-100/200/700/800 (NIMS) trainings recommended/required by FEMA.
• K4 driving record within 30 days of application.

Responsibilities

• Provide assessment and care to patients; deliver emergency medical services.
• Document patient information and maintain confidentiality.
• Maintain a safe, clean environment for patients.
• Operate EMT skills with communications, equipment, and procedures.
• Operate ambulance following safety policies and traffic laws.
• Collaborate with health and public safety teams.

We’re hiring Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) that will respond to emergency and non-emergency requests for medical assistance and deliver high-quality care, treatment and customer service to patients.

Potential Paramedic Scholarship Opportunity Available after 12 months of EMT Full Time employment- *For more details inquire within.

Responsibilities:

• EMTs provide an assessment of patients, determine necessary care and deliver emergency services by utilizing appropriate medical techniques and equipment.
• Document patient information, condition and treatment while maintaining confidentiality and patient rights.
• Take pride in providing a safe, clean, and well-stocked environment for patients.
• Use appropriate EMT skills to provide care including communications, medical equipment, cleaning procedures, office equipment and tools.
• EMTs operate an ambulance in conjunction with applicable company safety policies, and traffic laws related to the operation of emergency medical response vehicles.
• Work collaboratively and in a professional manner with all allied health and public safety personnel as well as your fellow EMTs.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Must be at least 18 years of age; some prior work experience in a health care system preferred
• Education: High school diploma or GED
• CA Drivers’ License
• Ambulance Driver’s License(from DMV)
• Medical Examiner’s Certificate (MCSA-5875andMCSA-5876)
• State of California EMT
• CPR Card (American Heart Association ONLY, Health Care Provider. Hand written cards are not acceptable)
• K4 report (Driving Record) from the DMV(less than 30 days old)
