Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Nationally certified and licensed EMT with at least 1 year of EMT experience.
• BLS certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross; CPR/ACLS not accepted.
• Strong communication, patient-focused approach and HIPAA compliance.

Responsibilities

• Triage patients, take vital signs, obtain histories and assist with minor procedures.
• Explain medications, dosage instructions and potential adverse reactions to patients.
• Maintain electronic health records (EHR) in accordance with privacy regulations.
• Collaborate with the clinical team to coordinate care and discharge planning.
• Support training and onboarding of new clinic staff.
