AMR Buffalo is hiring Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) in a full-time capacity in Buffalo, NY. Starting pay begins at $22.04 per hour and up based on experience.

The organization offers paid study time, books, uniforms, and tuition while employees attend classes to obtain a Paramedic license. Responsibilities include patient assessment, providing emergency care, documentation, and collaboration with public safety teams.

Competenze

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High School Diploma or equivalent (GED).
• State Driver’s License required.
• State EMT certification required.
• CPR/BLS certification required.
• PAT passed.
• Some healthcare experience preferred.

Mansioni

• EMTs assess patients, determine needed care, and deliver emergency services using appropriate techniques and equipment.
• Document patient information and treatment while maintaining confidentiality and patient rights.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and well-stocked environment for patients.
• Utilize skills in communications, medical equipment, cleaning procedures, and office tools to provide care.
• Operate an ambulance in compliance with safety policies and traffic laws.
• Collaborate professionally with allied health and public safety personnel.
