Job summary

Allegiance Mobile Health in Odessa, TX is hiring an EMT-Basic to provide essential pre-hospital care and emergency medical assistance. You will respond to 911 calls, assess patient conditions, perform basic life support, and assist in patient transport under Medical Director's protocols.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Texas EMT certification.
• CPR certification.
• PHTLS or ITLS certification.
• Read, write and understand instructions in English.
• Valid Texas driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Responds to 911 and non-emergency calls and drives emergency vehicles in varied conditions.
• Assists with patient assessment and basic life support procedures.
• Documents patient care reports and billing information promptly.
• Maintains readiness of vehicles and equipment, including decontamination and resupply.
• Communicates with dispatchers, EMS crews, and other responders per policies.
• Adheres to department policies, laws and professional standards.
