Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Texas EMT certification.
• CPR certification.
• PHTLS or ITLS certification.

• Previous experience in emergency care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Responds to 911 calls and non-emergency calls, drives emergency vehicles under various conditions.
• Reads maps and follows directions to respond efficiently and safely.
• Adheres to driving laws, policies, and procedures.
• Communicates with dispatchers, EMS crews, and other organizations as required.
• Keeps vehicles and equipment ready and clean; performs supply/vehicle checks.
• Documents patient care, reports, and billing information promptly.
• Provides direct patient care per Medical Director's authorization and protocols.
• Operates under high-stress conditions with professionalism and safety.
