Job summary

Allegiance Mobile Health of ODESSA & ECTOR COUNTY, TX is looking to hire Emergency Medical Technicians (EMT-B). The EMT-B will respond to 911 calls, assess patient conditions, perform basic life support, and assist in patient transport and transfer.

This role requires strong communication and a calm demeanor under pressure. Responsibilities include driving emergency vehicles, maintaining equipment, completing patient care reports, and coordinating with police, fire, and First Responder agencies.

Qualifications

• Certified EMT in Texas (EMT-B) with CPR certification.
• English literacy: read, write, interpret instructions.
• Valid Texas driver's license with insurable record.
• Experience in Emergency Care preferred.
• Pre-Hospital Trauma Life Support (PHTLS) or ITLS certification.
• Must communicate effectively and work in English.

Responsibilities

• Respond to 911 calls and drive emergency vehicles.
• Provide basic life support and patient care.
• Complete patient care reports and billing information.
• Maintain vehicle readiness and supplies.
• Coordinate with Police, Fire, and EMS partners.
• Adhere to company policies and NEOP process before staffing a truck.
