Job summary

Join Parachute, LLC in Salisbury, NC is seeking an EMT-B/EMT-A to join our Center Medical team. As an EMT- Physician Substitute, you will protect donor health, conduct health screenings, and support a fast-growing donor program.

You’ll work with center staff, cross-train in phlebotomy and other center functions, and have the chance for a monthly bonus on top of competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old and able to meet physical requirements.
• Emergency Medical Technician certification valid in state of employment.
• Current BLS or CPR certification.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and stand or sit for extended periods.
• Eligible to work weekends as required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor donor eligibility and safety; perform health screenings and exams.
• Respond to donor reactions and provide care as needed.
• Collaborate with center staff to maintain positive donor experience.
• Manage health logs and test results with clinical oversight.
• Keep exam rooms clean, stocked, and compliant.
• Cross-train in phlebotomy, processing bottles, and station setup.
