Job summary

Join Parachute's Huntsville, TX site is hiring an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT-B / EMT-A). As part of our lean center team, you’ll protect donor health, perform screenings, and support a fast-paced donor experience.

You'll collaborate with center staff, keep records, assist with phlebotomy and station setup, and have opportunities to grow with a monthly bonus and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Must be certified/licensed EMT (Advanced or Basic) in the employing state.
• Current BLS/CPR certification required.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and stand or sit for extended periods.
• Must be able to work weekends or alternate schedules.

Responsibilities

• Monitor donor eligibility and safety; perform health screenings and exams.
• Respond to donor reactions and provide care as needed.
• Collaborate with center staff to maintain a positive donor environment.
• Maintain health logs and test results with clinical oversight.
• Keep exam rooms clean, stocked, and compliant.
• Cross-train in phlebotomy and station setup; opportunities to grow responsibilities.
