MedCare in Athens, OH is seeking an EMT for night shifts to deliver high-quality patient care during emergency and non-emergency transports. You’ll operate our vehicles safely and work closely with healthcare professionals and first responders.

The role requires Ohio EMT-B/ EMT-A certification, a valid driver’s license, and strong interpersonal skills to thrive under pressure. Tuition reimbursement and shift differentials support ongoing growth and work-life balance.

(Full-Time, Various Shifts Available)

Location: Athens, OH
Compensation: $20.09/hour and up (based on experience)
Shift Differentials:

• Mon-Thurs, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM + $4/hr
• Fri-Sun, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM + $5/hr
• Sat-Sun, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM + $4/hr

* Run Bonus*

• $30/run for every run over station per shift goal

Tuition Reimbursement

Just earned your EMT-B certification? We’ll help you start strong with up to $1,500 in tuition reimbursement - half after six months, half after one year of service.

What You’ll Do

What is Required

• Current Ohio EMT-A or EMT-B License and American Heart Association CPR certification
• Valid driver's license with a clean record.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to thrive in high-stress situations.
• Physical capability to assist with patients up to 350+ lbs.
• Must be able to sit driving for long periods of time.
• Comprehensive knowledge of emergency transportation procedures and a thorough understanding of their application in the medical transportation environment
• Commitment to teamwork, excellence, and patient-centered care.
