Job summary

MedCare Ambulance in Lancaster, OH is seeking an Emergency Medical Technician to provide high‑quality patient care during emergency and interfacility transports. You’ll operate company vehicles safely and collaborate with healthcare professionals in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment.

This role offers in‑house education, tuition reimbursement up to $1,500, generous PTO, 12‑hour shifts with rotating schedules, shift differentials, and opportunities to advance toward paramedic or nurse tracks.

Qualifications

• Current Ohio EMT-A or EMT-B license and AHA CPR certification.
• Valid driver's license with a clean record.
• Ability to thrive in high-stress situations and provide patient‑centered care.
• Physical capability to assist patients up to 350+ lbs and sit driving for long periods.

(Full‑Time, Various Shifts Available)

Location:

Lancaster, OH

Compensation:

$20.09/hour and up (based on experience)

Shift Differentials:

• Mon - Thurs, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM + $4/hr
• Fri - Sun, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM + $5/hr
• Sat - Sun, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM + $4/hr

* Run Bonus*

• $30/run for every run over station per shift goal

Tuition Reimbursement

Just earned your EMT-B certification?
We’ll help you start strong with up to $1,500 in tuition reimbursement — half after six months, half after one year of service.

What You’ll Do

What is Required

• Valid driver’s license with a clean record.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to thrive in high‑stress situations.
• Physical capability to assist with patients up to 350+ lbs.
• Must be able to sit driving for long periods of time.
• Comprehensive knowledge of emergency transportation procedures and a thorough understanding of their application in the medical transportation environment
• Commitment to teamwork, excellence, and patient‑centered care.
