Job summary

St. Luke’s University Health Network is seeking EMT students enrolled in an accredited program to join the Emergency Transport team as part of a paid EMT Apprentice program.

The role offers hands-on experience under PA DOH EMS guidelines and may include a sign-on incentive and tuition reimbursement options. As an EMT Apprentice, you will work alongside certified EMTs, Paramedics and PHRNs in a Level 1 Trauma Center environment, gaining knowledge and skills for a career in EMS while supporting

Qualifications

• High School Diploma is required.
• Currently enrolled in an accredited EMT program.
• Valid BLS certification required (American Heart Association).
• Must have a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic life support at scene, en route, and pre-hospital settings under supervision.
• Assess injuries and illnesses to determine priorities and procedures.
• Assist in rescue and extrication using proper techniques and equipment.
• Ensure accurate documentation of patient care per required forms.

Education

High School Diploma

Currently enrolled in accredited EMT program

Valid American Heart Association BLS certification
