Job summary

Samaritan Care, Inc. offers a PAID Apprentice program designed to educate candidates and prepare them to pass the National Registry Exam to become a licensed EMT. The accelerated 6-week class runs Monday through Friday, 8am–5pm, with required clinical and ride time hours while in class; participants are paid.

Upon successful licensure, graduates may be hired by sister companies with salaries ranging from $34,185 to $49,740, depending on shift and schedule chosen.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age.
• Hold a valid Ohio driver's license.
• High School diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Complete the pre-entrance examination - given prior to the interview.
• Personal Health History, Immunization record, and Physician Physical Exam are required.
• 10 Panel Urine Toxicology Screen is required. Results must be negative, includes THC.
• After successful completion of the National Registry exam, graduates can be hired by any sister company with salary ranges of $34,185 to $49,740 depending on shift.
