Job summary

Inspira Health Network is seeking an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) to deliver prehospital care and transport within the DEMS system in southern New Jersey. The role includes responding to emergency calls, positioning patients for transport, and providing age-appropriate care from neonates to geriatrics.

The EMT must hold NJ DOH EMT, maintain AHA BLS, and have a valid NJ driver’s license. Preference is given to candidates with PHTLS/PEEP certifications and prior EMS experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• EMT certification recognized by NJ DOH is required.
• Current Basic Life Support certification (AHA) is required.
• PHTLS and PEEP certifications are preferred.
• Valid NJ driver’s license is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide prehospital emergency medical care and transport for patients of all ages.
• Perform inter-facility transport as directed between healthcare facilities.
• Provide mutual aid to adjacent EMS services when requested.
