Qualifications

• Active Wisconsin EMT or AEMT license is required.
• Current CPR certification.
• Pre-employment physical agility test must be completed.
• Criminal background check will be conducted.

Responsibilities

• Provides safe, effective, and timely transport of ill or injured patients within Wisconsin EMT/AEMT scope.
• Communicate effectively with health care and public safety staff involved in patient care.
• Assesses patient condition, plans care, intervenes, and evaluates outcomes.
• Operates emergency and non-emergency vehicles safely per policy and law.
• Completes accurate patient care reports and documentation.
• Maintains clean, safe work environment and performs equipment upkeep.
