Job summary

LCMC Health is seeking an EMT Lead to provide advanced life support in prehospital settings and assist hospital ED staff in caring for sick and injured patients. You will assess and treat patients of all ages, in diverse environments, and supervise other emergency personnel to ensure quality care.

This role requires strong EMT credentials, current certifications, and the ability to drive emergency vehicles as part of the team.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years as a registered EMT.
• Experience driving emergency vehicles.
• Current EMT-Basic or higher license and valid certifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced life support in a prehospital setting.
• Augment hospital ED staff in emergency care of the sick and injured.
• Assess and treat patients of all ages in varied environments.

Highlights: Record transfer volumes and continued regional growth. Significant investment in EMS technology and patient transport operations.

EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS

Preferred: 5 years of experience as a Registered EMT and Driving emergency vehicles.

• Basic Life Support Health Care Provider (CPR, BLS) - American Heart Association
• Defensive Driving Certification - Defensive Driving Certification Issuer
• Driver's License - Class D - Louisiana Office Of Motor Vehicles
• Emergency Medical Technician - Basic (EMT-Basic) - Louisiana Department Of Health
• National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians- Advanced(“EMT”) (NREMT – Advanced)
