LCMC Health is seeking an experienced Clinical Nurse Manager to lead the unit with a focus on safe, patient-centered care and staff development.
You will manage daily operations, budgeting, quality improvement, and collaborate with physicians, nurses, and families to sustain excellent care.
The role requires an active nursing license in Louisiana, BLS certification, and at least 5 years of clinical nursing leadership experience.

Take the lead: manage the operational and fiscal responsibilities of your department or unit and initiate processes to assure the highest quality of patient care using a participative approach to achieving goals. Promote the mission, vision and values of the organization. Maintain standards of team accountability for hospital policies and procedures in the delivery of care. Promote excellence in patient and customer relations by acting as a liaison and effectively interacting with physicians, staff, patients, and families. Maintain a close working relationship with other hospital managers and serve on committees to provide efficient and safe patient experience. Manage and coordinate quality assurance program improvement on the assigned unit. Promote a safe environment and complete safety reports regarding employee or patient injury and ensure proper follow-up. Participate in budget planning and manage cost containment practices. Assimilate evidence-based practices and safety protocols into patient care and always maintain patient confidentiality. Update policies and procedures as warranted. Manage staffing: evaluate staff work performance, coordinate new employee orientation, and interview, hire, counsel and terminate employees.
