Bon Secours Mercy Health is seeking an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) for St. Mary’s Hospital. The role involves providing care and transporting patients in pre-hospital environments. The EMT operates an ambulance, maintains certifications, and commits to ongoing training.

Required: Basic EMT certification, BLS, EVOC within 3 months, valid license, and 1 year of incident-free driving; 1–3 years experience preferred. 3 12-hour shifts per week; pay range $17.25–$25.87 per hour.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Vocational/Technical Degree is preferred.
• Basic EMT certification in state of practice is required.
• Valid State Driver’s License is required.
• BLS Basic Life Support is required.
• EVOC training required within 3 months of hire.
• 1 year of incident-free driving is required.
• 1-3 years of experience is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Responds to calls and performs patient assessments.
• Provides basic airway management.
• Provides CPR and use of AED.
• Participates in required trainings.
• Provides proper care and safe transport of patients.
• Maintains reports and records of transports.
• Cares for vehicle and equipment.
